Apparently, in the ’90s, long denim skirts weren’t just la dernière mode for high school age girls – they were a required uniform for the feminine members of a certain church.  It would seem haircuts were right out, as well, for the self-same females.  I’m sure Ingus can fill in the gaps between that idea and the germination of this tune.

Playing this song tends to hurt my fretting hand – lots of notes in quick succession – so the chorus is a nice break from the frantic verses.  And, frankly, I’m amazed Ingus can keep up the rough voice.
