Ingus – “Plenty of room down here!” – I believe that’s Biff, saying that.  This was recorded at our most packed show ever.  Maybe not the highest attendance, but definitely the most people per square foot.

Aaron Handwerker threw this house party at his parents house.  The annual band geek convention, or something to that effect.  The entire basement floor, the part without us playing on it, that is, was kids sitting indian style (which I’m told is no longer how that’s referred to now, that it is called ‘legs crossed apple sauce’, but come on, that’s kind of stupid.  It’s ‘indian style’.  Hiya hiya hiya.).  The stairs leading down to the basement?  Wall to wall peeps.  People were crowd surfing DOWN the stairs to try and find a place on the basement floor.

Pete, Aaron’s brother and long-time friend of the band, had even rigged up a handy-cam in the basement with a cable from the a/v out running up to the television in the living room, and kids were watching us on the TV.  We were gods.

Pete was also recording with that handy cam, and this cut is from the audio track of that VHS tape.

The picture is also from that show – setting up prior to the festivities.  Dig that hair!!  Ironically, JohnJohn appears here with short hair, while the rest of us look like Sammy Hagar.  Good times.

Louis – that’s one hell of a reaction to that song…sounds like a much bigger room.  I’d love to see that VHS…I think…
