Strange But Still

Okay, really rolling along now. One of my personal favs, as well as a perennial fan favorite. Ratza came up with the baseline while goofing around at a practice one day, and we wrote the rest of the song around it.
I stole the “here we go” at the beginning from REM’s “Shiny Happy People”, which had recently been released, which gives you an idea of how old the song, and, therefore, this band, is. We’re old.
Breakdown:
Ingus – vocals, guitar
Ratza – bass
Louis – drumslength: 2:12
The photo looks like it was taken at a house party, maybe at Pete’s parents’ house. I remember playing one with Jay there, but not necessarily with Ratza. I bet Louis can remember…

I don’t remember exactly, but I’d guess Pete’s band party. We must’ve recorded drums first, because I can hear me singing the bass line right before the drums kick in. This one is one of my favs as well.
Still what?

Still Strange!
This is a joke lifted from The Muppet Show. I don’t remember which episode, but if I had to hazzard a guess, I’d say it was from a Pigs In Space sketch, maybe from the Star Wars episode.

Yes I am pretty sure that picture was taken in the basement of our parents’ house. If I remember correctly the DHS band party was Nov. 95, but I’m not sure this picture is from then.
That’s what I thought, but this is definitely older than that, as Ratza left long before Nov. 95, and I have pictures (which I’ll post later, of course) of us playing in your folks basement with Jay (which corresponds with that time period much better). Did we play TWO house parties at your house?
